Tepie Meng
Graduate Student
Tepie is a physics graduate student interested in the means of ultrafast optical methods and scattering probes to study emergent phenomena in quantum materials. Her main systems of interests include quantum spin liquid candidates and organic charge-transfer salts. She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in physics from the University of South Florida. As an undergraduate, she has worked with chemical vapor deposition and Raman spectroscopy to synthesize and characterize transition metal dichalcogenides. Tepie has also worked in the Computational Nanoscience Group using molecular dynamics and density functional theory to study ferroelectrics. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places or experiences.
