Filippo earned his PhD in 2021 with Prof. Daniele Fausti at the University of Trieste, Italy, combining ultrafast spectroscopy with quantum optics to study light-matter interaction in the few photon regime. In the Mitrano Lab, he will investigate complex quantum materials by performing time-resolved experiments with optical and X-ray ultrashort laser pulses. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports.
