#  MitranoLab receives Star-Friedman Challenge Award

 Our group has been selected for funding in the [Star-Friedman Challenge for Promising Scientific Research](https://research.fas.harvard.edu/star-friedman-challenge-scientific-research) competition. Thanks to the generous support of the Star and Friedman families, we will use ultrafast lasers and high pressures to demonstrate energy-efficient magnetic switching in layered multiferroic materials.
